A free children’s festival on Saturday 24th June, taking place at St Georges Church in the heart of Kemptown Village, this day of cakey goodness and children’s entertainment is jam packed with family fun.
Children’s music workshops from Music Carousel; puppetry and story telling – “the forgotten lands” – performed by Twydall Crumblepatch And Alex Zafiropoulos; performances from the Brighton School of Singing and other community troupes; Capoeira display and workshops from Amazonas Arts; creative arts workshops and facepainting from Willowisp; walkabout circus skills performers and much more.
The cake bake competiton will take place during the day and you can enter into the following categories:
– Pre-school childrens’ competiton (6 to 15)
– School age childrens’ competition (up to 16 years)
– Standard entry (16 and above)
– Brighton city traders and businesses
We are also happy to accept cake donations to sell during the tea party. All cake sales on the day will be helping to raise money for the Kemptown Carnival 2018.
